Two Quick Recipes!

PINK STUFF
1 small package Jello "red" gelatin
1 small container Cool Whip
8-oz cottage cheese
1 (8-oz can) crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Optional - miniature marshmallows

Fold Jello packet into Cool Whip. Drain the pineapple VERY WELL and fold into Cool Whip mixture along with the cottage cheese and nuts. Cover and store in refrigerator until cold and set.

I have also made “orange stuff’ with mandarin oranges and orange Jello.

FROG EYE SALAD
1 small package vanilla instant pudding
1/2 box ancini de pepe
1 lb. can pineapple
1 lb. can fruit cocktail
1 small can mandarin oranges
Maraschino cherries
Cool Whip
Optional -- marshmallows, coconut

Mix pudding with 1 3/4 cups milk. Set aside. Cook acini de pepe. Drain, cool. Drain pineapple, fruit cocktail and oranges. Mix pudding and 1 cup Cool Whip. Add fruit and cherries. Add acini de pepe. Chill.
