Arrived around noon.
Had a late start out of Lamoni due to fog – and I mean FOG! When it was about ¼ mile visibility, I
decided to hit the road and stay on the interstate – I’ll pick up the Jefferson
Highway in Iowa on a day trip when the weather is better. Came straight into Marshalltown, had lunch
with my sister and checked into the motel – My Get Up and Go has GONE – time for
a hot shower and a long nap.
I have some more info on places I saw during the trip and as
I get the photos cropped and the materials written, without too much plagiarizing,
I’ll post it to the blog. In the
meantime...Thanks for makin’ the trip with me!
